Greetings,

     My name is Larry Alfonso. Over the past ten years I have spent many days studying, training, and implementing various security measures at different levels. I spent nine years serving our country in the US. Marine Corp. departing that fine organization in 2006. While there I trained and implemented a wide range of security from terrorist awareness to upfront crowd control during national disasters. Upon my return home I installed security systems for Sonitrol for pretty good size building mostly in our local school district. However though all my training and travels to various locations around the world. I had an amazing realization come to me. I was always concentrating on huge groups of people then once in awhile someone or something will slip though the cracks and a catastrophe would take place due to a mistake an oversight or some other small detail that went overlooked. My point nobody will look out for you like you no matter how fine the organization is. What does this have to do with you? Let me tell you. I know you may have never experienced Iraq, top secret security measure, or even crowd control during Hurricane Katrina in our southern states in 2005 as I have and even though you may have police watching over you and your world might seem pretty peaceful most of the time does not mean something bad could never happen. That is the realization I came to terms with people need to prepare and learn how to take care of themselves in any circumstance. That is why I started Self Defense Co. I do public speaking for neighborhood watch groups and other groups looking to take their streets and children back from gangs, drugs, and other abuses of the streets.
